Promotion Boards & Selection Process for rank during the 2019-2020 Academic Year

Intro Mission is to identify the most qualified cadets to fill leadership roles in and facilitate a smooth transition from the chain of command Selecting cadets for Regimental, Battalion, and Company level positions Process begins 2 JAN, 2019 and ends 28 MAR, Battalion Boards (rising JRs and SRs only): 7 JAN- 4 FEB- This is to develop an Order of Merit (OML) list to see who qualifies for the RG Boards (command positions at Officer and NCO Levels) -Regimental Boards (rising JRs and SRs only): Based on each BN’s OML - Officers- 4 FEB – 15 FEB - NCOs – 18 FEB – 1 MAR -CO Corporal/Clerk Boards (rising SOPH only: CO Boards (CPL/CLKs): 4 FEB – 22 FEB (CDRs/ SCSs and 1SGS scheduled to be identified the week of MAR and TOs are scheduled to be 99% on 28 MAR) To read more about the Promotion Boards Policy AND to get additional information, , go to the website:

CQR WORKSHEET & SUBMITTING DATA /SCORES ONLINE
ALL rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors must complete a Cadet Qualification Report (“CQR”) Worksheet and then submit their scores and data online. This includes cadets who have already been elected to positions (i.e., Honor Committee, Team Captains, Class President, etc.) IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR RANK, instead complete a "Request to Decline Consideration for Rank" form (and turn it in to your CO TAC) Once you submit your worksheet information online, a confirmation will automatically be sent to the you provided

The CQR Worksheet is a 3 page .pdf that can be saved to your computer and completed electronically. If you have problems with the form fields: Download the worksheet to your computer, save it, then reopen it with your Adobe Reader. OR- Print the worksheet and fill it out manually. Write your calculations next to the boxes. After you complete the form, input your data and scores online.
