Healing forBrokenness
2
“I will seek that which is lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick…” Ezekiel 34:16
3
Broken Definition (Dictionary.com):
Reduced to fragments; fragmented Ruptured; torn; fractured Not functioning properly; out of working order Fragmentary or incomplete Infringed or violated
4
God wants us to be WHOLE so we can accomplish His plan for us.

Luke 18:1-5 (MSG) 1-3 Jesus told them a story showing that it was necessary for them to pray consistently and never quit. He said, “There was once a judge in some city who never gave God a thought and cared nothing for people. A widow in that city kept after him: ‘My rights are being violated. Protect me!’ 4-5 “He never gave her the time of day. But after this went on and on he said to himself, ‘I care nothing what God thinks, even less what people think. But because this widow won’t quit badgering me, I’d better do something and see that she gets justice—otherwise I’m going to end up beaten black-and-blue by her pounding.’”

Then the Master said, “Do you hear what that judge, corrupt as he is, is saying? So what makes you think God won’t step in and work justice for his chosen people, who continue to cry out for help? Won’t he stick up for them? I assure you, he will. He will not drag his feet. But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?” Luke 18:5-8 MSG

Galatians 3:13 (NLT) “But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When He was hung on the cross, He took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
8
Deuteronomy 21:22-23 22 When someone is convicted of a crime punishable by death and is executed, and you hang him on a tree, 23 his corpse must not remain all night upon the tree; you shall bury him that same day, for anyone hung on a tree is under God’s curse. (NRSV)

“For I received from the Lord Himself that which I passed on to you [it was given to me personally], that the Lord Jeus on the night when He was treacherously delivered up and while His betrayal was in progresss He took bread, And when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and said, Take, eat. This is MY BODY, WHICH IS BROKEN FOR YOU. Do this to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance. 1 Corinthians 11:23-24 (AMPC) For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]. 2 Corinthinians 5:21 (AMPC)

Broken (from 1 Cor. 11:24) – klao (Gr.) :broken, shattered (fragmented) as in a violent death. Jesus knows brokenness…because He was made sin, He was broken for us and was made to stand in our place of brokenness… JESUS STOOD IN OUR PLACE! HE BORE OUR BROKENNESS!!!

God takes broken people and makes something new, something beautiful out of them.
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) “The Spirit of God, the Master is on me because God anointed me. He sent me to preach good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken, Announce freedom to all captives, pardon all prisoners. God sent me to announce the year of His grace – a celebration of God’s destruction of our enemies – and to comfort all who mourn, To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion, give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes, Messages of joy instead of news of doom, a praising heart instead of a languid spirit. Rename them “Oaks of Righteousness” planted by God to display His glory. Isaiah 61:1-3 (MSG)

God takes broken people and makes us COMPLETE – We are ENOUGH in Him
[Colossians 2:8-10 NLT] 8 Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. 9 For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. 10 So you also are COMPLETE through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
