Good morning! My name is Samantha Yeung, Library Division Manager overseeing public services and Systems. Our Library is very fortunate to be able to stay open 7 days a week during these difficult times. We are a municipal library founded by local property tax and City general funds. The library has two locations, the Main Library – Grant R. Brimhall Library and Newbury Park Branch Library. We continue to be a very busy library, with almost double the expenditure per capita. Our library has collection of various material types, CDs, DVDs, ebooks, downloadable audio books, printed books and periodicals. Our annual circulation is

After attending 2012 IUG, we brought information back to the Library and shared with staff. It is just very appealing to us when we learned that Sierra is an Open Source using an industry standard database management system. We are hoping with the new system we are able to take better advantage of the circ. data to improve services to our customer.
