Team Concept Each grade level has two full Houses. A House consists of four teachers. One from each CORE subject. Language Arts Math Science Social Studies Students in a house share these four teachers, which allows teachers to plan activities, testing schedules, etc. for their students. *Note: Being in the same house, does not mean students will have their CORE classes together.

Sabercat Theatre Theatre 6 - Class Productions
Would you like to learn more about theatre and yourself? This 9 week course introduces students to the wonderful world of acting. Students will learn introductory acting techniques, improvisation, dramatic movement, vocal work and much more! Theatre 6 will help build self- confidence and creative expression. Productions Summit Trail puts on two plays each year, plus a talent show in the spring. Auditions are open to all grade levels! This is a chance to showcase your acting talent and work hard with new friends! The spotlight not for you? Backstage crew members are also needed! Drama Club Join drama club to enhance your performance skills through improvisation and acting games. This club is open to everyone!

Leadership Today 6 Examines past and present leaders in many fields. Students work with leaderships skills and concepts.

Art 6 For any 6th grade student – even those who think they can’t draw! We’ll explore 2-D and 3-D media, focusing on basic techniques. Our emphasis will be to develop each student’s creativity and imagination.
