Everyone makes mistakes, but it’s important that we do our best to create habits that don’t interfere with the learning and safety of others. If you make a mistake that violates the middle school policies, a note will be made below. A pattern of disruptive or irresponsible behavior will have these consequences: 1-3 offenses per quarter: You are human, you make mistakes. 4th offense: Your parents will be contacted. You and your teachers will meet and develop a plan to change your behavior. 5th offense: A parent will be asked to meet with you and your teachers to identify the problem and come up with a solution. 6th offense: This is a serious problem. You will receive a discipline referral.

12 Summer Reading Project
I will be going in to the 5th Grade classroom to assign the project and answer questions May 16th and 17th. This is a student driven, creative project that should show an understanding of a student selected book. Make sure the book is “just right”. No picture books, comics, or fact books can be used for the project. Non-fiction is okay. Be creative. Have fun! You are choosing what the project is and how it will be presented to the class. So do something that sounds fun to you!
