Chateau de Beauvais dates from the 18th century and sits in a 7.5 hectare park in the Creuse department. The castle is arranged as a chambre d'hotes, combined with gites situated on the side wing of the castle.

The castle is situated on a plot of 7.5 ha, rich in natural beauty, gardens, chestnut oak, and many other types. Walking through the park is a true pleasure as you watch the wildlife, hear the birds sing and enjoy nature. There are picnic tables also a swimming pool with sun loungers, or relax on one of the terraces.

The department of Creuse is one of France's lowest population regions. It has romantic villages, towns & cities bustling with life, small farms and many interesting activities. There are castles to explore, very good restaurants, bistros, antique quaint village outdoor markets and all manner of sports. Limoges is a cultural city with superb shopping centers, large covered market, restaurants, historic churches, monuments and of course the world-famous porcelain.
