1 Editing your Video Clips with Windows Movie Maker.

2 1st of all, ADD whatever media you need by clicking on “Import Video”, etc on the left hand side of your screen.

3 2ndly, drag the media that you need into the respective timelines below. Video to the video timeline and music to the music timeline if you plan to add music to your video. Make sure you place it in sequence though. Drag and drop them into place.

4 3rdly, you will need to add SUBTITLES before, during and also after your clip.
Do this by clicking on “Make titles or credits” on your left hand side of the screen. Make one title before the clip. You can always add effects to your text if you like… Also, take note that when you make titles DURING the clip, it will appear in the “Title Overlay” timeline instead of the “Video” timeline.

5 Adjust and edit the sequence and the synchronization of the clip all you want. You can also “Cut” the clip or music file by dragging the sides towards the center. Remember to enter your team name both at the beginning and the end of the clip.

6 Once you’re satisfied with your clip, remember to SAVE IT by clicking on “Save Project As…”.
When you’ve saved your project, click on “Save Movie File”. It can be found under “File > Save Movie File” or you can press “Ctrl+P” instead.
