Pick a familiar Christmas Song
Stay true the original lyrics
The better the audience knows the lyrics of the original song, the more they can appreciate your humour
Parody lyrics should be easy to sing
Lyrics should have a “message” and of course, be appropriate

9. When writing, you need to be careful to count syllables and watch for awkward accents caused by certain placements of lyrics.
Start from the complete original lyrics. (Jingle Bells / Deck the Halls provided) or print off your team’s favourite tune
Consider (RHYMEZONE - a rhyming dictionary)
