3 Highlights Customers today are more satisfied with product quality, security, and Microsoft support than they were one year ago. One third of respondents say they will deploy Windows Server 2003 within a year; two-thirds will adopt in two years. Customers continue to be frustrated with new licensing policies and frequent upgrade cycles.

4 Highlights Active Directory is mainstream!
Desktop management is biggest benefit derived from Active Directory. Half of all respondents say they are seriously looking at Linux on the server.
