Internship Electronics Engineering Division Our Team: Toyota Motor Europe is offering an internship position for a 4 to 6-month period. The Electronics Engineering (EE) division is developing driver assistance systems. In order to optimise the product validation, our team is willing to set-up a tool which allows Electronics Control Units (ECU) to be tested on bench, as they would be in vehicle condition. The test bench shall simulate the vehicle’s surrounding and driving conditions. It shall handle all Inputs/Outputs required by the ECU and sensors. Your Challenge:  You will have the following responsibilities: Customer requirements study Bench specification design (architecture, tools to be implemented) Test bench development (Software & Hardware) Testing & results analysis for bench validation Training of potential users (user manual, training session) This experience will allow you to : Work in a multi-cultural environment (working language is English) Understand the vehicle’s electrical architecture Work with CAN (the standard automotive communication bus) and its analysis & validation tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CAPL programming language) Apply V-cycle development in the automotive industry Your Assets: Expected profile : Working level English .NET Programming skills (C, VB) Script Language (e.g. Python) Simulation tools : Matlab/Simulink, Labview Ideally, basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics Autonomous, rigorous and highly motivated Expected Start: from June 2013 Place of Employment: Toyota Motor Europe Technical Centre, Zaventem
