-Use of Color theory

-Interesting or Expressive brush strokes
-Unique use of Painting technique
(drippy like water color)
-Distinctive surface/ground to work on

1 Master Artist
1 Contemporary/Modern Artist
Choose and print a picture that bests represents the characteristics you chose- glue in sketchbook
Look each artist’s body of work (at least 3)
Determine what makes them unique… What characteristic do they have that others don’t? What did you like?
Write two characteristics for each…
