9. HOW IT WORKS LIQUID Streams AIR Stream EXPANDED Stream .
Small metering pump draw water and chemical from their respective tanks.
The pumps are size matched to particular planter size and speed requirements
The 2 independent flow are merged
The now mixed chemical and water is sent to multi-valve manifold.
The manifold will be mounted near the center of the main planter tool bar.
There is a single LIQUID valve for each section on the planter
The LIQUID stream then exists the section valve and proceeds to an Expansion Manifold, where it will meet the AIR stream
Expansion manifold is located in the center of the 4 or 6 rows that it serves.
AIR Stream
12 volt AIR COMPRESSOR supplies compressed air to second multi-valve manifold.
There is a single AIR valve for each section on the planter
The AIR stream then exits the section valve and proceeds the an Expansion Manifold, where it will meet the LIQUID stream.
EXPANDED Stream .
The now expanded mixture will exit the expansion manifold thru a row blockage monitor.
From the blockage monitor the expanded mixture moves thru row closing solenoid valve.
And continues to the planter furrow.
