1 Actuaries Climate Index™
Express Tour

2 Guided Tour— Time for an express tour only?
Select Regional Graphs under the EXPLORE menu to go directly to the screen showing aggregate index values for USA & Canada and look at contiguous USA or Canada or if you prefer, at one of the 12 regions of particular interest to you. The default display will show you seasonal values but monthly values can also be selected, both color coded to emphasize values that are comparatively unusual for that period. The key metric is the 5-year moving average shown by the black line. Illustrative example:

3 Guided Tour— Time for an express tour only?
With an average of zero over the 1961 to 1990 reference period, the Actuaries Climate IndexTM has risen to a five-year average of 1.02 for the US and Canada; for contiguous US and 0.78 for Canada. Note that the Actuaries Climate IndexTM for the US and Canada is not the weighted average of the two countries. Hopefully you will return to the site for a more in-depth visit and for updates.
