IN – Interactive Notebook
Suggestions and pointers for creating the cover and starting to organize your interactive notebook.

Directions for IN cover
Get a composition book Cover it creatively and colorfully Title it with your course name and ‘Numbers about Me’ Neatly write or print 10 interesting numerical facts about you including your birthdate, number of siblings and pets Due by Monday, August 29th Grading rubric is on WordPress page

IDEAS for covers These are several examples of interactive notebook covers. REMEMBER: You can use the computer to print or create pictures.

Reminder: You are welcome to use wrapping paper, scrapbook papers, scraps of colorful paper, stickers and pictures. BE CREATIVE!!

Remember: If you choose to write by hand, make sure that your writing is dark and readable from a 3 foot distance.

It is page 1 with Interactive Notebook rubric written on top of the page

Take your time and put your BEST effort INto your IN
We will add everything we learn this year to it, and it will likely become a prized possession of yours (NO kidding!). Many concepts in the notebook will be used again later, and students can refer to their IN in their later math courses.
