2 Competition Scoring

3 Boat Structure Frame Pontoons Made from fiberglass T-slot bars
Frame may be changed to aluminum hollow square bars This can save 0.7 lbs per foot Pontoons Hollow 100% fiberglass Drain plugs Uses aluminum hollow square bars for mounting legs

4 Propulsion System Motors Motor positioning Motor Mounting
Two Prowler 30 lbf electric motors Motor positioning Shafts are locked in a forward position Rotation by differential thrusting of motors Motor Mounting Mounted at the stern of the boat Twin frame bars for extra strength Blade Shields Built by Norva-Plastics , $250 (half priced for ODU)

5 Central Processing Unit
Components Land computer, Internal Computer, GPIO-24, Digital to analog converter, IFI robotics controller, two Speed Controllers, Motors Speed controllers take a PWM signal Computer is being defragmented 12v battery

6 Waterproofing All wires are re-routed to the top of the box
Holes on the lower section of the electrical box are all sealed A splash guard will be placed on top of the existing lid, the new lid will be waterproof This splash guard will house the cameras

7 Cart Dimensions: 8” tall x 5’ long x 3’ wide
Required by competition rules

8 Logic/Vision Integration
Vision can now detect all four buoy colors (red, green, blue, yellow) The center of each buoy is recorded in the picture frame (pixel) Logic code has be successfully integrated into the bottom of the vision code Cameras are being temporarily mounted to the electrical box while the waterproof shield is being built

9 Ghant Chart

10 Budget Initial Funds - $3000 Current Costs Future Costs
New motor - $100 Blade shields - $250 Registration Cost - $500 Future Costs Frame upgrade - $200 New pontoons - $200 Waterproofing case ~ $350 (TBA) T-Shirts - $6 each x 14 team members = $84 + tax Final savings - $1316 (party?)
