Choose a Question Must be written as a question
Should be interesting to the student. Has to be testable (NO BUILDING MODELS) You will be able to complete in the required time.

Title Choose a title that reflects your topic and is creative and catchy. MAKE THE PROJECT STAND OUT! Big enough for Judges to read from far away.

Hypothesis Make a guess to the previous question you wrote.
This is how you think your experiment will turn out, before you even try it. Example: “ If I __________ then I think _____” will happen.

List Your Materials Make a complete list of everything you will use in your experiment. Tell how many and how much of each object used. Use metric measures only. GOOD IDEA TO TAKE PHOTOS OF YOUR MATERIALS OR DISPLAY THEM FOR THE JUDGES THE DAY OF THE FAIR.

Procedure Write down step-by-step directions on how to do your experiment. Do not leave anything out! This can be numbered in a list format, or written in paragraph form.

Do your experiment. Have fun ! Take pictures of you doing the actual experiment. STUDENT FACES MUST BE HIDDEN. If you need to borrow Goggles, please see your teacher before experimenting. NO Animals, No Dangerous Chemicals, No flames, No Weapons, No tests allowed on Human subjects

Collect Data : Display data using photographs, drawings, journal entries, charts, tables, and line, bar or pie graphs. This is the proof and information of what happened in your experiment. RESULTS: Using your data write a few sentences how your experiment turned out.

Conclusion Write down what you learned from doing this experiment, include if your hypothesis was correct or incorrect. “My Hypothesis was ____________. I learned that ______________________.” You can write what you would do different if you did the experiment again. “Next time, I would ______________ to my experiment, to see what happens.”

Make Your Board Start your information on the top left panel of the board, move down the left panel, across the middle panel, and from the top down on the right panel. Place pictures of your experiment on your board. (YOUR FACE CAN NOT BE IN THE PHOTOS)
