1987 July 25: Hyundai Motor Union established 1998: the union merged with Hyundai Motor Service Union and Hyundai Precise Engineering Union 2006: the union members decided to join the KMWU (71.54%) 2007: the union dissolved itself and changed into a KMWU branch 현대자동차지부
