1 Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibody–Associated Rapid Progressive Glomerulonephritis after Pembrolizumab Treatment in Thymic Epithelial Tumor: A Case Report  Mi Hwa Heo, MD, Hee Kyung Kim, MD, Hansang Lee, MD, Myung-Ju Ahn, MD, PhD  Journal of Thoracic Oncology  Volume 12, Issue 8, Pages e103-e105 (August 2017) DOI: /j.jtho Copyright © 2017 International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer Terms and Conditions

2 Figure 1 (A) Mediastinal tumor tissue section indicating type B3 thymic epithelial tumor (hematoxylin and eosin; original magnification, ×400). The tumor cells are large, with lymphoepithelial morphologic features and few immature lymphocytes. (B) Computed tomography scans show thymic mass at diagnosis. 3 Figure 2 (A) Kidney biopsy (periodic acid–Schiff; original magnification, ×200). Sclerosis, pericapsular fibrosis, and cellular crescent are present in the glomerulus. The glomerulus is moderately increased in size and moderately hypercellular with mesangial and endocapillary proliferation and inflammatory infiltration. The mesangial matrix is mildly increased. Capillary loops show focal ischemic wrinkling. Tubules exhibit acute damage and focal, minimal atrophy accompanied by mild interstitial fibrosis and mild mononuclear infiltration. Arteries exhibit mild arteriosclerosis. (B) Skin biopsy reveals intracorneal pustule and diffuse neutrophilic and lymphocytic infiltration with necrosis in the dermis (hematoxylin and eosin; original magnification, ×100). 4 Figure 3 (A) Initial presentation of multiple extended skin rashes on both feet. Multiple erythematous and eczematous papules can be observed. (B) Multiple extended skin rashes show improvement 4 weeks after systemic steroid and cyclophosphamide treatment.
