Peer review Rewards for Excellence £10k prize for equipment, travel or something else to accelerate your research programme

Date: TBC Rooms 422 & 423 Sir Alwyn Williams Building Effective Research Collaborations – Hear from senior staff who have developed strong research collaborations with colleagues and competitors to advance their field of research and build their research profile. Session 6 28th March 2019, Research Integrity workshop Sam Oakley, Researcher Development Team Session 7 18th April 2019, Rooms 422 & 423, Sir Alwyn Williams Building KE, IP and Commercialisation - Impact is a key consideration for all researchers. Our Knowledge Exchange, Commercialisation and IP workshop will cover some of the activities that can lead to the creation of impact. This session will include presentations from external speakers on IP and how to protect and exploit it. There will also be case studies from senior colleagues on how to engage with industry (through consultancy, collaborative research and spin-outs) to create impact and benefit your research activity. The University’s IP processes and support will also be presented at this session. Carnegie Trust funds – collaborative - Scottish Universities Industrial Fellowships (RS / RAEng) – working with industry Capex are you intending to apply for equipment? You need to prepare well in advance Orcid ID – get one! Peer review – responding to feedback from reviewers
