Income per person: US$2,500 (UK by comparison is US$39,700)
Poverty level: 64% of the population living in poverty
Inequality: The wealthiest 20% of people have over half of the wealth (54.2%); the poorest 20% of people have just 3.2% of the wealth.

Murder rate: 57/100,000 in 2017 (second highest in world after neighbouring El Salvador [83] and compared to 5 in the USA and 1 in the UK) (
