Extra Month for repair work compared to original plan Jan 15- June 15 -> Jan 15-July 15 (6 months) Must install scaffolding on mezzanine (1 month delay?) Stacking to begin in August: Restacking Plan Written Finish at end of October Mismatch of manpower with stacking Originally plan to stack in June PSU students gone by early August Student labor available for preparation work Tasks at BNL/PSU well in hand and on schedule Starting to get problems/rework necessary.

PSU: Alteration of FNAL Bases Annealing lead glass, cleaning and wrapping of lead glass in 0.001”mylar Casting plastic fixtures for gluing magnetic shields to lead glass

4 Personnel working at BNL
Main Tasks to Finish: Gluing/Wrapping Large Cells 300 left 15/day = 1 month. PMT Bases work at PSU ~50% completed. Can be mounted after stacking. Order for 700 optical pads: 10 delivered; next week-100 units/week. Stacking plan written and submitted to Bill Christie: Main points are front platform and delivery thru RHIC tunnel/Door 6ED1.
