2 Personal Profile Sarah Altwicker Degree in Southeast-Asian- Studies
at the University of Bonn studying Environment & Education at the University Rostock since 2002 engaged in Coral Reef Education Programs Voluntary work for the Marine National Park Bunaken Initiator and manager of the 2005/2006 Coral Reef Education Program, and awareness-training for schoolchildren in the Marine National Park Bunaken

encompasses ha and consists of two separate parts: Northern section Southern mainland section

4 over 30.000 people live in 22 villages
Marine National Park Bunaken over people live in 22 villages farmers and blue water fishermen a lot of the people do depend upon the reefs for survival

Coral Reef Education Program Target groups: Schoolchildren (aged 10 to 15 years) from 35 elementary schools within the Marine National Park Bunaken Teachers Students from the University of Manado

Participation of 39 elementary-schools with 52 groups  a total of 1026 children, accompanied by 118 teachers and 16 parents additionally workshops with 114 teachers and students
