Myths & Facts Some of you will receive note cards with myths on them and others will receive facts. Those of you with Myth cards will read them aloud one at a time. The person with the corresponding Fact card will then inform the class of the truth regarding that myth.

Circle the Wagons Form a circle around the room with your chairs to participate in a round table discussion.

Michael’s Story What problems began to occur with Michael? Make a list of the areas of Michael’s life that were affected. Share your list with the class. Individual, Family, Friends, School, Work

Many individuals believe that they can stop the use of a drug at any time. This is the inherent problem with the use of drugs. It is much more complicated than one tends to believe. The brain has a lot to do with people continuing the use of drugs. There are different levels of dependency that strengthen an individual’s craving for a drug.
