Dr. Kenneth E. Harris, President Current ETS Student Graduation Requirements: UMD and MAPM must attend two ten-hour workshops. MDiv must attend three ten-hour workshops. Workshop Course Code: WS329 Facilitator The Rev. Dr. Samuel White, III Adjunct Professor, Ecumenical Theological Seminary Pastor, Friendship Baptist Church, Detroit Author, “No More Tears: Comfort for the Grieving” ETS is accredited by the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada, and the following degree programs are approved: MDiv, MA, MA in Pastoral Ministry, DMin. Workshop Description: One of the most powerful, comforting scriptures is , “Weeping endures for a night but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) This short verse of scripture reveals a bereavement process that encourages us to express our grief, endure it and discover joy in spite of it. The workshop will delineate the three phases of the bereavement process and provide spiritual coping skills to comfort the bereaved.
