Brief Summary of the Content
STIMULATE 9 offered a wide scope of subjects related to Library and Information Science. Basic and advance topics were offered on digital library, copyright, open access, open source software, library automation, ISIS, greenstone, web design, HTML, XML, indexing, statistics, scientometrics and informetrics. Dynamic environment achieved during library visits, assignments, attendance to conference and social events. Most topics were integrated with I.T., as the work in the library becomes more demanding and complicated in this new digital environment.

Suggestions to Improve the Organization of the Program
a 2 to 5-day lecture on language, culture and history of Belgium aside from beer and chocolate tasting event, it might be interesting to include this in the program particularly during the first week. class schedule (related topics) although it was adjusted according to the availability of the lecturer, it could have been better if it is sequentially scheduled (blocked) according to topics and related/prerequisite topics.

Library Visit provided a venue for an active learning environment The library heads and staff are very welcoming/accommodating and patiently/willingly answers all our enquires Lecturer Well-known experts in their own fields Such an honor and privilege for me to be one of their students Exert a lot of effort in explaining and integrating the lessons for the participants to understand it. Participants were able to participate in the 30th Annual IATUL Conference

Not So Good Components of the Program Academic Contents
NONE However, more lecture days should be allotted for wider coverage on the following topics: XML, Greenstone, Harvesting, Copyright, Open Source Software and Courseware

Implementation of the digital library, institutional repository and library website Evaluation of research performance of SEAFDEC/AQD by means of scientometric and bibliometric studies
