Use the present continuous correctly. Use the correct tense of the stative verbs.

Stative verbs ( take only the simple tenses, and not -ing )

Think NOTE: Think, have and look can be used in
either the simple or the continuous tenses, but with a difference in the meaning. Think يعتقد think (stative) = have an opinion, believe I think that coffee is great. think (continuous) = mental process, use the mind. A: what are you thinking about? B: I'm thinking about my summer holiday.

Have have (stative) = own يمتلك *I have a car. * My friend has two kids. have (continuous) = part of an expression , doing an action. تأخذ معنى الكلمة التي تليها I'm having a party / a picnic / a bath / a good time / a break / lunch / a shower

Look يبدو * Look (stative ) = seem , appear
When look is a stative, it should be followed by an adjective or a noun * You look beautiful * He looks smart يختلف معناها حسب حرف الجر الذي يليها Look (continuous ) = use the eyes * look ( continuous ), it should be followed by a preposition. .ينظر إلى For example, * He is looking at these paintings. يبحث عن * They are looking for a new house
