Why Should You Learn Excel?
20 hours per week (conservative) * 50 weeks is 1,000 hours per year! 10,000 Hours over next 10 years! Your firm will let you get by with limited Excel skills. From what I’ve seen – limited investment in training If you’re bad, they don’t care, you’ll filter yourself out and/or just work much longer hours. “Learn on the job” is limited by what your team mates / managers know. Excel is a “Cheat Code” Whatever time you spend learning Excel will be repaid several times over!
