4 Why Should You Learn Excel?
Get a full-time offer! Top 25% of interns (Excel ability) receive offers. Bottom 25% don’t If you’re strong with Excel, everyone will want to work with you. You make their lives easier! Save you Time (Your time, not the firms) Turn a process that might take 1-2 days into 2 hours 2 hour process into 15 minutes Bigger Raise Client projects have budgets. By working faster, you can easily exceed those budgets.

5 Why Should You Learn Excel?
20 hours per week (conservative) * 50 weeks is 1,000 hours per year! 10,000 Hours over next 10 years! Your firm will let you get by with limited Excel skills. From what I’ve seen – limited investment in training If you’re bad, they don’t care, you’ll filter yourself out and/or just work much longer hours. “Learn on the job” is limited by what your team mates / managers know. Excel is a “Cheat Code” Whatever time you spend learning Excel will be repaid several times over!
