Accomplishments:
Learned how to use Linux.
Learned Python.
Coded a quick sort program in Python.
Started the Automatic Summarization article by Ani Nenkova and Kathleen McKeown.
Met with mentor and set up weekly meetings.
Problem & Solutions
I did not have a clear understanding about my research project.
I was not able to meet with faculty.
Plans for next week:
Read two chapters from the Deep Learning textbook, Get familiar with Linear Algebra and continue the summarization article.
Strengthen my skills in Python and Linux.
