1. Pasa números
Divide students in to teams and have each team sit in a row. Give each student a dry erase marker and something to erase with. Each team gets one dry erase board.
The objective of the game is to be the first team to spell all the numbers correctly. For each round the winning team gets one point. At the end of the 5th round, the team with most points wins.
The first person in the row spells out the first number on the white board, then passes the board back to the second person in the row. The second person write the next number on the slide and passes it back, and so on. When the last person in the row has finished writing, the board is passed all the way back up to the first person in the row. The team continues like this until they have written all the numbers on the slide for that round. When they finish, the say “done” and hold the white board in the air. The teacher checks the spelling. If there is an error, just say “error” and hand it back. It is the students’ job to find and fix the error. If they think the have it corrected the may call “Done” again. The teams continue to work on it until there is a winner. When a winner is called, the round is over. The white board is erased and given to the second person in the row to start the next round.
During play, every student must write something even if it is a guess. If a player spots an error, they are to fix it, but that is their turn. They don’t write the next number. They just pass the corrected board to the person behind them.
