5. Teaching is how I want to make the world a better place.
I want to open up my students’ eyes to cultures and worlds outside of their own.
I can use literature to teach English, History, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Science, and Geography
My goal is to encourage and create life-long learners. I want my students to take everything we study in class and connect it to things in the real world and in their own lives so that they see the value and relevance of education. I will work as hard as I can to get my students to care about the world of literature and the world around them.

I fully intend for my students to learn from me, and I from them.
My goal is for my class to be a place where strange, awkward, and difficult questions can be asked without fear of judgment.
Whatever issues my students have, they can bring to me – I have experience in many types of difficulties and dramas.

I am intelligent, responsible, efficient, well-organized, and kind.
I want to teach literature, not because I am obsessed with books (but of course I am anyway), but because I want to make my students more mindful and aware of
the world they live in
and how it got to be that
way.
