MAIDS( Misguided Adolescents in Deep Situations)
Introduction MAIDS( Misguided Adolescents in Deep Situations) Our goals are to find guidance in those that we look up to
3
Research Problem The problem is that teens are not aware of what misguidance is and cannot recognize when they experience it. The maids realized that adults, support systems and the people around us also have an impact on guidance rather its negative or positive. Most teens in high school need someone to look up to especially with everything that they are going through. Teens look up to adults mostly because we depend on them and they also tell us that we can depend on them, but when that time comes we don’t see it.
4
Research Questions What is Misguidance? How does misguidance affect youth? What are support systems for youth? Who should guide youth?

Data Findings Internal Constraints External Constraints
“I used to get bullied because of the mole I have on my head and they made it very uneasy for me to accept my appearance. “Up until 10th grade I had very bad role models. They led me to do a lot of bad things.” “I’ve experienced bad teachers who were not qualified to teach the subjects they taught. They weren't familiar with the subject area, unwilling to explain or teach so that students could understand. I have been in classes where we were just given BUSY WORK like worksheets and no real teaching and learning took place.”

Data Analysis and Discussion
If adults were to show support by listening this would help to conquer depression in youth.
11
Definition of Support Systems
Overall support systems include parents, friends, teachers, and even siblings. It even includes organizations. Mostly the person that you can depend on.
12
Data Analysis and Discussion
In our collection of data, we found that many people didn’t even recognize that they were misguided. They wrote it off as the way of life. Many people did not recognize the problem or underlying adultism.
13
Data Analysis and Discussion
Our findings on our survey showed the startling reality that misguidance is a huge problem with everyone. Almost 77% of all participants have experienced misguidance.

Conclusion Reflections Future Action Implications & Questions
Text or picture that illustrates what you would do to make this research better (read more resources, use time more wisely, been more careful with reading that data, etc.) Text or picture that illustrates what you will do in the future, what you recommend others should do in the future, or how you can work with others to take a specific action in the future. Text or picture that illustrates the importance of your research and remaining questions to be answered.
