Zoo Phonics- Total Physical Response to help students remember sound, movement, letter formation.
Letter-sound of the week- Science paper about apples, acorns, bats, camels, etc. Scholastic news science topics.
Social Science- American symbols and holidays as they come up throughout the year.
Math- what a number is worth in many different ways (5=3+2 or 2+3 or 4+1 or 0+5) and how to write it
Keys to Success- moral intelligence building to help students grow to be good citizens
Technology- Raz Kids book app. on iPad, Google Docs typing on Chromebooks
PE- Tuesdays and sometimes Fridays, dress appropriately and bring water

Memorise all 3 words each week. Total of 55 words to be memorized by the end of the year.
Monthy homework to be done as a family. Let child do project, imperfections are ok!!! Practice presentation speech with student the night before it’s due.
