1. FLATS Storey 5 Floor 4 Storey 4 Floor 3 Storey 3 Floor 2 Storey 2

2. `Exposed floors
If a flat is located on floor 0 in a 3 storey building, then for the purposes of RdSAP the floor calculations will be entered as a heat loss floor because it is in contact with the ground.

3. UNEXPOSED FLOOR
If a flat is located above another dwelling that is heated then for the purpose of RdSAP the floor area will be classed as an unexposed floor.

4. Sheltered walls.
If a wall to a flat is exposed to an unheated corridor then the length of the wall will be entered as a sheltered wall, the rest of the exterior walls will be entered as part of the Heat Loss Perimeter calculations.
