2. Elementary Visual Art PLC Meetings

Elementary visual art PLC’s for this year have started, with 6 school locations meeting this week.
Or, teachers have the opportunity to attend the arts magnet meeting at LaVilla MS at 2:30, to receive important information about how to prepare 5th graders for visual art auditions and the application process.

3. District Visual Art Supply Budget
Supply orders are due to Laurie by Friday, September 28th!
Visual art teachers need to be sure to submit their supply order requests to Laurie Brown no later than Friday, September 28th.
For storeroom orders, please complete and submit the excel spreadsheet. When requesting to purchase from an outside vendor, a quote is required.

4. Remember all of our curriculum guides are now on OneNote!
All district curriculum guides are now housed on OneNote and are accessed through “My Content” on the OneView home page.

5. You can now navigate to the Notebook page(s) you need and receive updates as they come through from your desktop Notebook!
Each content area has its own section within the visual and performing arts notebook. Remember to view OneNote notebooks through the OneNote 2016 software on your computer to see the correct format. If you have any questions or trouble accessing the curriculum, contact your specialist for assistance.

6. District Music Budget Deadline
ALL purchase request forms are due to

Friday, September 28th!
Don’t forget that all elementary instrumental and vocal music teachers must submit their purchase request forms to Amanda Pfisterer no later than Friday, Sept 28th. Guidelines and forms were ed out last month. Form and vendor information is located in the Budget page of your OneNote section. If you need assistance, please contact Amanda.

Elementary Music PLC meetings have been. Teachers have the choice of 9 school locations to attend, collaborate, and problem solve with colleagues. Check OneNote for lead teacher and meeting date and time details. This week, each PLC will send two representative teachers to the Arts Magnet PLC Meeting at LaVilla MS, at 2:30, to receive important information about the application and audition process. This information will be shared with their PLC during the next meeting.
