Many respondents (nearly 45) know of others who use LETS or reserve rides for other people.
Those who do use LETS use it only a few times a year (43% of respondents), primarily to get to/from medical appointments and recreation.

The majority of respondents (57%) would definitely use an expanded transit system, and more than ¼ would consider using it.
Getting to/from the Metro Airport would be the most popular use of an expanded system, followed by recreation.
Many respondents would park and ride or use non-motorized means to access transit (41% and 34%, respectively).

Livingston County is a large service area with several difficult-to-reach locations.
Limited understanding of the services that LETS offers prevents people from using them.
Transit service is hindered by Livingston County’s limited number of walkable, transit-oriented destinations.

Scheduling a LETS trip is currently inconvenient.

Increased population and employment density as well as increased congestion on major routes may improve transit viability in Livingston County.
Improved coordination among transit providers may better serve Livingston residents and workers.
