FPOA Strategic Plan- Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Folmont Property Owners Association (FPOA) to preserve the heritage of the Folmont area while respecting the environment and building a community for its residents. The FPOA is committed to leaving a legacy of community, forests and wildlife for future generations.

Enforce the Covenants by: Overseeing the rules governing architectural design and structure Overseeing rules concerning timbering activities Maintaining a fair and equitable assessments Providing an accurate and balanced yearly budget Maintaining an open and yearly audited account balance Maintain a policy and procedure manual that is current to the needs of the community and the mission of the FPOA.

Communicate with the membership by: Publishing a newsletter Maintaining an accurate membership directory Conducting quarterly Board of Directors Meetings Conducting an annual membership meeting open to all FPOA Members Responding promptly and courteously to inquiries from the membership. The strategic plan will be revisited on a yearly basis.

Foster Volunteerism by: Recruiting members to serve on the standing committees of architecture, road maintenance, Parks, entrances and recreation and environment Recruiting and training the next generation of potential board directors Providing yearly activities such as pothole filling, park cleaning, trail clearing, historical seminars, artistic expressions etc.

Improve the Infrastructure by: Maintaining and improving the roads Exploring improvements in electronic information access Maintaining the Right of Ways Maintaining the gates and entrance ways

Enhance the recreational opportunities of the Folmont Area by: Developing the park areas Maintaining the ponds Managing the forest Developing the trails Providing recreational activities for its membership such as the yearly Labor Day Picnic.

Protect the Environment by: Enforcing the applicable covenants concerning land, streams and forest. Working with local environmental agencies Reporting violations of environmental laws and regulations Assisting property owners in the management of the forest areas Preventing further degradation of water and air resources

Maintain financial integrity by: Setting annual assessments to meet the needs of the members of the association. Maintaining an emergency contingency fund of a minimum of 50% of the annual budget. Investing wisely and conservatively as described by the covenants
