Gradventure - 8th Grade Sponsor: Mrs. Clark Busch Gardens - 7th Grade Sponsor: Ms. Haugabrook Sea World - 6th Grade Sponsor: Mrs. Eugene End of Year Field Trip Information

2 8th Grade Trip May 10th 4:00p – 12:00a Gradventure (Universal Studios)
Early entry as early as 4pm Exclusive to 8th graders at 7pm Charter bus: 2pm-2:00am 10:1 student to chaperone ratio, would prefer a 5:1 Students stay with chaperone all night Students choose chaperone by what they are interested in doing Students MUST attend school all day on May 10th

3 Cost - 8th Grade Trip $120 per student/chaperone Two parks
Universal Studios Islands of Adventure Transportation there and back on a chartered bus Meal ticket T-shirt Park Passes can not be used for this trip

4 Payment Timeline - 8th Grade Trip
December 3rd - 1st payment of $30 This payment will be non-refundable Permission slips will be handed out to those who make the first payment January 12th - 2nd payment of $30 All permission slips must be turned in by this time February 2nd - 3rd payment of $30 March 2nd - last payment of $30 Tickets will be bought at this time and refunds will no longer be available April- Students choose chaperones May 10th- Go to Universal!!!

5 7th Grade Trip April 26th Busch Gardens
Charter bus: 7:45am-8:00pm 10:1 student to chaperone ratio, would prefer a 5:1 Students stay with chaperone all day Students choose chaperone by what they are interested in doing

6 Cost – 7th Grade Trip $124 per student/$134 chaperone
Transportation there and back on a chartered bus Meal ticket (all day dining) T-shirt Park Passes can not be used for this trip

7 Payment Timeline - 7th Grade Trip
December 7th-1st payment of $31 ($33.50 for adults) This payment will be non-refundable Permission slips will be handed out to those who make the first payment January 11th-2nd payment of $31 ($33.50 for adults) All permission slips must be turned in by this time February 2nd -3rd payment of $31 ($33.50 for adults) March 2nd-last payment of $31 ($33.50 for adults) Tickets will be bought at this time and refunds will no longer be available April- students choose chaperones April 26th – Go to Busch Gardens!

8 6th Grade Trip April 18th Sea World
Charter bus: 8:00am-8:00pm 10:1 student to chaperone ratio, would prefer a 5:1 Students stay with chaperone all night Students choose chaperone by what they are interested in doing

9 Cost - 6th Grade Trip $90 per student/chaperone Park admission
Transportation there and back on a chartered bus Meal ticket T-shirt Park Passes can not be used for this trip

10 Payment Timeline - 6th Grade Trip
January 12th-1st payment of $30 This payment will be non-refundable Permission slips will be handed out to those who make the first payment February 8th -2nd payment of $30 March 14th-last payment of $30 Tickets will be bought at this time and refunds will no longer be available April- students choose chaperones April 18th-Go to Sea World

11 Chaperones Must be level 2 volunteer
Application is on the county website Scroll down to Volunteer Information & Application Get a FDLE waiver from Mrs. Clark (or Ms. Pease) fill out and return Contact Mrs. Pease at to let her know you submitted the application so she can turn in your waiver Look for to set up fingerprinting First come (approved) first picked Please see Mrs. Clark, Ms. Haugabrook, or Mrs. Eugene if you are interested Must stay with students at all times

12 Fundraising To offer scholarships for those who need it
To lower the cost for all: To offer scholarships for those who need it Lower cost for all to attend Perhaps could cover the buses Maybe cover the cost of the t-shirts Teachers have already come forward to offer scholarships to students! Texas Roadhouse Spirit nights and gift cards (info coming soon) Open to suggestions Possible monies added to student accounts for hours spent helping run a fundraising event

13 To be qualified to go… Must attend school the entire day on the day of the trip Behavior – Students can not have 2 or more suspensions after: 8th Grade – November 1st 7th Grade – December 3rd 6th Grade – January 3rd NO SUSPENSIONS AFTER SPRING BREAK

14 T-shirt design contest:
8th and 7th grade Submissions are due on November 1st The class will vote on the winning design
