Situation/Challenge: Lack of material for
submission for the M Chapter Award

In collaboration with 3M Canada, IPAC Canada established the Champions of Infection Prevention and Control Award in The Award will recognize IPAC Canada members who have demonstrated innovative initiatives to prevent infection, raise awareness, and improve the health of Canadians. Formal presentation of the Award will be made at the Opening Ceremonies of the 2018 National Education Conference.

At the 2017 ipac cso summer meeting, teams were selected and one hour was allotted to each team to solve their clues and head out into the community and provide infection prevention and control education. With verbal consent from community members a photo was taken to capture the educational moment. Each photo was to be submitted to the executive members

All the photos will now be submitted as evidence for the 3m chapter award. We provided multiple education sessions in our community in less than one hour.

This can become a standard practice at every summer meeting (always a new location) in order to bump up our material for the annual 3m award.
