What is on the test?
Tests are based on notes taken in class and on labs or projects.
The book is a great resource to give an overview of the topics and to help students make connections and see the big picture
However, not all of the information in the book chapters will be on the tests
Studying should focus on class notes & power points

7. Nearly all notes are in Power Point presentations
They can be found on the Biology class web page
Students should take handwritten notes in class as we go over material.
Studies have shown that students who hand write notes score better on tests than those that type their notes
