12. Our own difficulties to progress
Two major problems:
Availability of Internal resources:
Several development projects are already ongoing (i.e. household consumption, renewables, oil stocks)
Energy statisticians are often not the right contacts:
Mostly, transport and energy statistics are handled by different services in the MS
Our own communication channels are therefore not sufficiently fit for the task

Conclusions
We strongly encourage it, to try and bring this project to a success
It is important for a number of EU policies
The energy Statistics will be happy to support it
Help in determining and discussing the needs and the possibilities
Help in identifying energy-related technical issues
This work must take into account existing work at national and international level
