Thank you! Thank you for all of the wonderful Valentine’s Day treats! When I am as big as a house, you all are going to have to help me work it off!
We have had so much fun seeing each other's inventions! We are continuing our paper this week in class. This group is so creative, and this is a fun assignment! I love how they continue to be passionate about their writing!
Reading- Sadie’s Game Skills and strategies: visualize, and problem and solution. Genre: Realistic fiction. Our vocabulary focuses on similes and metaphors.
No Language Test this week!! The test will include a fresh read story (a story that the child has never seen) and questions related to the skills that were taught throughout the week.
Math– We are adding and subtracting fractions! Please go over their daily work to reinforce what we have learned during the day.
Continue to work on your multiplication facts!!!  .
Science- Living Things, the human body.
Grammar– Skills: Comparing more and most.
Spelling and Vocabulary- On the back of this paper   
Feb. 24th– Science Olympiad at AU
Feb. 26th– Black History Program
Feb. 26-March 2- Book Fair
March 12th–16th – Spring Break
Things to do at home with your child…
Read for 20 minutes every day.
Practice multiplication facts nightly.
Study spelling words.
Review any study guide you may have, even if it not complete, study what is available.
