ACT Hendrickson High School Course Fair January 27, 2015

2 All 11th Graders will be taking the ACT
On April 28, 2015 Pflugerville ISD will be giving all 11th graders and any 12th grader that still needs to pass EOC English or Math the ACT exam during the school day (for FREE) All 11th Graders will be taking the ACT

3 College Entrance Exam (evaluates student’s college readiness)
The ACT determines admission requirements at colleges The ACT tests Math, Reading, and Science knowledge What is the ACT?

4 ACT does not deduct any points for incorrect answers
ACT does not deduct any points for incorrect answers. (There is no penalty for guessing.) The student’s Composite score and each test score (English, Mathematics, Reading, Science) range from 1 (low) to 36 (high). The Composite Score is the average of your four test scores, rounded to the nearest whole number. How is the ACT scored?
