The Importance of Roots
A great revival of interest in ancient Greek and Latin civilizations took place in England during the years , a period known as the Renaissance. At that time, numerous ancient Greek and Latin words were incorporated into the language. This continues today. When modern scientists need to name a new idea, process, or object, they tend to construct a word out of Greek or Latin roots. The Importance of Roots

VIDEO Philosopher (n)- lover of wisdom and knowledge. Plato is the most well known philosopher in history. He was esteemed as extremely wise.
