Our Easter
Class 2A Rignano sull’Arno Primary school

2. It’s spring: we have begun to work in our vegetable garden, helped by our parents and grandparents.

3. We have planted salad, potatoes, garlic…

4. We have received also some seeds from Poland

5. We followed the teacher’s Barbara advice and have put the seeds of cress in the wet cotton wool.

6. After few days we have brought the little Polish plants at our home.

7. We planted flowers received from Poland in pots on the windowsill of our class.

8. In our school canteen we have boiled some eggs and coloured them with the pigments received from our Polish friends.

9. We have received cards and presents from our Poish twins.

11. Now we have Easter holidays for one week
Now we have Easter holidays for one week. In the Easter day we use to go to the mass and the priest blesses the boiled eggs that we eat during the lunch with our relatives.

12. We open the chocolate eggs, that have e surprise (like a little toy) inside. We eat a typical cake wich has the shape of a dove (in Italian “Colomba”).
