2 Present simple Base form of the verb
If used for third person add “s” at the end Example : He needs time.

3 Present Perfect Verb have / has + Past participle
Examples : He has visited. I have watched this movie.

4 Present Continuous Am / Is / Are + present participle of the verb + ing Example : They are leaving.

5 Present perfect continuous
Have or has + Been + present participle + ing. Examples : He has been working They have been travelling.

6 Future simple Will + Present participle
Examples : He will come here tomorrow. He will not buy a car.

7 Future Perfect Will have + past participle
Example : The patient will have recovered from illness by the next month.

8 Future continuous Will be + Present participle + ing
Example : They will be making preparations for their exams.

9 Future perfect continuous
Will have been + Present Participle + ing Example : They will have been living in Paris for 5 years.

13 Past perfect continuous
The past perfect continuous tense is constructed using had been + the verb’s present participle (root + -ing). Example : Had you been waiting long before the taxi arrived?
