Tomorrow we will read “Proving Up”... Today we will focus on sections of the story to understand it better as a whole part tomorrow!
Each of you will get an excerpt: A, B, or C
You will read, analyze, annotate, and answer questions regarding setting and characters in your excerpt.
You must become an expert on your excerpt in order to move on to the group activity!

9. Jigsaw When instructed you will…
Divide into groups of THREE! Each group will have one A, one B, and one C. You may need to get out of your seat and move!
When signaled (by me) person A will share their answers and takeaways from their excerpt.
B & C will ask questions and write notes.
It is person A’s responsibility to ensure B & C become experts on excerpt A.
When signaled person A will stop and person B will begin… repeating steps 2-4.
