Toll Rate DMS – dedicated to express lanes and may only be used to display toll rates. 1-line, 6 character DMS within the static sign.
Toll Rate Sign – composed of one or more Toll Rate DMSs and may have additional static text. Static sign with toll rate DMS(s) installed.
Lane Status DMS (Informational DMS) – can be located both before and after a reader gantry to provide express lane status. 1-line, 18 character DMS at the bottom of the static sign.

ML001E : SunGuide shall be configured to allow an authorized operator to declare an event on managed lanes using the standard event creation tools.
ML009E : The system shall be configurable to allow activation of a feature that requires an opening or closing to be associated with an event before the opening or closing can be applied.

Some of this functionality is already supported by SunGuide:
Express lanes (a.k.a. HOT lanes) can be configured in EM and marked as blocked when creating/editing Events.
RPG templates can be configured for lane status DMS
Lane status DMS can be manually added/excluded by an operator after a response plan is generated
One small RPG modification is planned for phase one:
Response plans will only include Lane Status DMSs for events blocking express lanes
Use of double line in the Lane Blockage GUI – requested by D6
No other updates planned for Phase 1 due to schedule constraints
