7 1. Taking the plunge requires counting
We have to be Kingdom counters (a God fearing person whom is willing to examine all aspects of their life in comparison to Jesus life and ministry on earth) We have to be willing to open up and count what truly reflects Jesus Christ and what does not What is a kingdom counter. Well it is an individuals whose heart is set on Jesus and looks at all aspects of ones life to evaluate how it lines up with a genuine Jesus follower We have to be willing to ensure that all that we count comes up as that of what Jesus is calling us to Account for our actions Account for our words Account for our hearts disposition

8 2. Taking the plunge requires us to consider
Consider - is in the present tense (which directly speaks to a continuous action) An action that is defined as a daily occurrence if not even more than that (a moment by moment occurrence) The cravings we experience are for the kingdom rather than for personal gain or pleasure The cravings of our heart become kingdom cravings We crave his presence we crave his call we crave his life giving power We crave his kingdom first

9 3. Taking the plunge requires us to loose all things
The phrase “all things I count for loss” not only included His position within the church but also included his finances, intellect, and political gain. He gave it up all for the sake of gaining eternity and serving Christ Jesus. Paul was a citizen of Tarsus and only families of wealth and position could remain a citizen their and Paul did indicating to us that he was a wealthy man with influence or he could not have been a citizen It was a progressive city His parents disowned him because of he becoming a Christian Paul was sent to a private school in Jerusalem to learn under gamaliel. He also was sent to the university of tarsus a Greek school of learning So he forfeited all to gain Christ What gain it must be
