Making immediate use of information minute by minute
Stock: the things needed based on the sales, employees, resources
Price matching with different stores

5. Analysis Performing data processing
Identifying pattern, trends monitor business
Compare different stores locally and nationally
Analyse sales to predict growth and future revenue, staffing, budgeting and advertising.

6. Decision making Support decisions when problems / issues arise
You can reduce: cost by reducing stock wastage (orders), staff (hours worked)
Operational: at branch level
Tactical: small groups of branches
Strategic: regional or national
