4. A Unit Plan
We’re going to discuss how and when America starts getting more involved in foreign affairs
Foreign Affairs- Policy of a government in dealing with other countries or with activities overseas
For the first few days, we’ll talk about how America’s power grows
And we’ll finish the unit with a big example of some global issues – WWI

5. Group Activity
You will be put into groups and given a major event in American history that is an example of America’s involvement in foreign affairs
You will make a poster on your event containing the following information
A summary of the event or term. (who/what/when/where/why)
What was the main motivation/reasons for the actions of America?
Was America justified in her actions? Why or why not?
